Shifted focus to the hair and background. I had refined my facial features.
Throughout the painting, I've kept my brushwork loose and prominent. I really wanted to have the mark making consistent throughout the piece.
Started blocking in the basic colours, keeping in mind of my values.
I did an acrylic wash in burnt umber. I then began blocking in my values.
